Old School (HxC) refers to hardcore music - the likes of Agnostic Front, Sick Of It All, Madball, etc. The dropped down 3/4 shorts, wallet chain, loose belt and skate shoes are the classic outfit for the hardcore scene of the 90s, to which he belongs.
This is the way we go in the mosh pit - half naked, fearless and strong. Hardcore is about unity, respect for others and standing your ground. The bodybuilding poses are a way of showing some of this in a photo, but they are not in the essence of it.

Intentionally shot with 85mm @ f2 - the author got the portrait they intended.
There are takes at f11 with the same model on a different background, which show all features on a sharp focus, but that's a different look and you can't have both in the same picture:)
Here we're are focusing on Angel's cheeky personality, and this one eye in focus does the job very well.
