moim zdaniem nie jest to korzystne zdjęcie. Pani wyszła... jakby to napisać zgodnie z prawdą i nie sprawić przykrości- dość bezkształtnie. To ubranie strasznie pogrubia, szczególnie nogi, do tego mina która mówi: usiadłam i nie mam nic do powiedzenia, ale zaraz upadnę bo już czuję, że się odchylam. Nie chcę porównywać, bo to zupełnie różne formy ale zachęcam żeby zerknąć na portfolio Wacława Wantucha. Tam jest zagadka, tajemniczość, kreacja. Nie wstawię czarnej gwiazdy bo portret jest poprawny chociaż mdły i trochę miałki ale moim zdaniem warto poszukiwać kreatywności

Thank you for your opinion. No disrespect to the genius of Wacław Wantuch, but I find his imagery nowhere close to the way I would like to depict human beings.

The lady in this portrait is 8 and a half months pregnant, she is supposed to be shapeless, with thick thighs and she is leaning back to balance her beautiful pregnant belly (which holds plenty of mystery and creation) :)

Thank you for not giving me a black star, this is very generous of you, but honestly - the way you wrote your comment makes me think you didn't realize this is a portrait of a woman who is heavily pregnant with her fourth child? The original title of the portrait is 'Vanya and Jordan', it was published elsewhere with it.

Once again, thank you for your input, as a fellow photographer recently noted - indifference is the worst, I prefer any type of criticism under my photos, rather than silence.

Author, thank you for your reply, but you won't cover the shortcomings with sarcasm. The fact that this fourth child does not mean that you cannot move the model creatively, and this is a complaint to you as the author of the idea. You had no idea for this photo. After all, pregnancy does not make a woman a disabled person, and certainly does not take away the imagination of the creator of the emotions she shows. Do not take my argument personally (from the reaction I read that you expected praise), I am not generous, I am honest. Treat the topic as a challenge in subsequent implementations. Good luck

Please accept my apologies if my humorous tone has offended you - this was not my intention. I had the idea to make a classic portrait, as many of that type I have done and you can see them in my profile. You mention shortcomings - unless you see any technical faults, like missed focus or botched post-processing, there are none. I am not expecting praise, but I am in no way dissatisfied with the result - I got exactly what I was panning to, the rest is a subjective. The person photographed is her true self on that photo, and that's why she loved it so much - a representation of how she felt in the 40 degree heat, tired and blissfully waiting. Greetings:)

Uważam, że @Autor dobrze oddał stan ducha kobiety, tuż, tuż przed rozwiązaniem. :)
Portret prawdziwy, w stroju, który ma być komfortowy. A czy pogrubia, czy zniekształca jest sprawą zupełnie drugorzędną.
@Autor mógł jednak nieco lepiej zadbać o układ włosów, a przede wszystkim o okulary, które przecinają linię oczu.

Viewers have different sensibilities. Of course, you can expect a particular type of response, but don't take opinions that conflict with expectations. If you feel good in a classic portrait, it's worth developing a workshop, maybe it's not your day. Do as you feel, don't be discouraged, there will be more days. If this is a hint for you try to surprise the viewer a little more. The technically correct portrait is ordinary until you get the viewer's attention, focus your attention. You can be sure that no one is biased here, we have no idea who the author of the photo is, we are not prejudiced against you. Try to look for other forms of expression, develop a classic portrait or refine it in detail. I will gladly see what you achieve

As much as I don't like being patronized, I must admit that you have a point about surprising the viewer more... I've never considered anyone here prejudice, otherwise I wouldn't have been on Fotoferia at all, but the bias thing... well, this is basic psychology and as much as you wish it, you can't deny it:) Anyway, all good here and no hard feelings.

Dear Author, I wasn't based my opinion (star) on the comments before. I didn't say anything before but in the 'inferia' section I already made my mind to 'not publish'. After considering some facts I decided I was wrong. Is not mine taste but the photo itself deserves for at least brown star.
Then the photo was moved to the 'Low Gallery' and after more thought I've decided to give it a silver star when in my opinion is a very generous and strong note. So as you see not everyones opinion here is based on somes else suggestions. I know is not always fair, but at least is honest. Sometimes is just people's preference and their taste and as we know everyone is different. Not hard feelings and I am looking forward to see some more of your works.
